Hello,

I'd like to be a beta tester for Dolphin 64. I have very powerful hardware and can help the developers by testing each game (i know where to get Iso's) and reporting bugs as they present themselves. If there is an application forum, i'd be happy to fill it out.

My computer is an Intel Core2Duo E6600 @ 2.4 GHz (has 64 bit and DC) on asus p5ld2 motherboard 2gb of ddr2 667mhz ram, and an ATi X1950XT video card with 256 mb of vram.

I'm very interested in the Dolphin project and would be very interested in giving a hand,

I have read the rules and I know your not supposed to ask to be a beta tester or ask for the beta but I don't see any other way to contact the developers,

If i ever did get the beta i would never distribute it, I'd even be willing to sign a confidentiality contract,

Thank you,

Jmaster

just for your information...

It's not mainly the system that a beta tester needs. Of course it helps for "speed" but it's not really the goal of devs to know how fast it runs, it's to know what game hangs where for what, when doing what. Graphical bugs, control bugs, audio bugs .. etc. There's a ton of people that got the latest technologies in PCs but if doesn't mean we'll take one of them.

And also, testers are usually chosen within the Emulation community already, people devs already talked to a lot, that people knows around here (active, helpfull, long time members). It's really less likely to have someone that just appeared to be selected. Anyone can say "Oh and I won't leak it anywhere" the first time they pop. Sadly no one can be trusted when it's the first time we see them.

I'm sorry but there's not even a small chance for that to happen. Dolphin is more on a halt again right now as ector is more busy on other projects.
