Ok, Ok, I go to play some roms I downloaded and I'm getting an error message on startup saying something like, "unable to exit from permanent loop, this emulation will stop, verify rom and rom settings" What is a permanent loop and how do I fix this? btw i do have three roms that work. and also, when i play extreme g 2, i can see the main menu and everything, but when i start the race, the view messes up and i can't see anything (it like goes into the sky or something) but the rom is still playing just fine. I don't get it, why is it doing that?

hm...maybe it's your rom. i don't really know. i don't know where to start because, no offense, but i'm assuming that you're a newbie that n64 emulation. hopefully someone with more experience can help you.

The decent one
This can be 2 things:

1: Wrong rom-settings
2: A bad rom.
To check this: download GoodN64 from www.smiff.clara.net and follow all the instructions. If there isn't a [!] at the romname then there's something wrong with it (for example "Super Mario 64 [E]" instead of "Super Mario 64 [E] [!]".

You're using an older version of PJ64. Get v1.5 and the service pack.
