Hi i need help as fast as posible!

Hi i have downloaded and installd this program and i wan't to run Star Wars Rouge Leader on it but when i try to start it i get this error messages

Fatal Error : Failed to load ansi_font.bin and then another message
Fatal Error : Failed to load sjis_font.bin and another message
Error : SPR_SDR and one more message and it is the last one
READ : unknownd address

Do any body know what this is abaout?

It doesn't work on Dolphin (and probably won't for quite a while). Doubt it works on any other GC emulator either.

hmm why dosen it work for? is there any wrong in the game or do any one have a clue what the problem is?

The problem is it uses functions that haven't been emulated fully in any GC emulator (as far as I understand). Even if it did work, I'm led to believe the framerate would likely be sub 2fps. Not playable.

You need to go and buy a Gamecube to enjoy your game I'm afraid.

I'll answer in English (otherwise if you look at a few of my last posts, I'll be a hypocrit ).

I don't know if a fix for this game is going to arrive anytime soon (I'd guess it won't be playable for a long long time). Put it this way, the game and the Gamecube will probably be very very cheap by that time

Some of the more knowledgable GC emulator fans may know more.

I don't really understand what the error is - SPR_SDR - but what I do know is that this is unlikely to be fixed anytime soon. It has something to do with the pagetable, which has not yet been emulated in Dolphin. I have seen over 30 games with this error.....

You forgot F-Zero GX, that one has the same error.

The error is because of the lack of one part of the Gamecube's hardware that isn't emulated, nor will it be emulated for while. Apparently it's very complex, and Ector doesn't have the time? Eh, I don't know. Let Ector answer it himself for a completely valid answer.

No, I don't have time, and adding page tables would slow down dolphin even more :/

Personally i don't care about speed. If i were to make an emulator, i'd make sure everything is emulated, no matter how sloppy it is. Then once i had things worked out i'd rewrite it in a clean and optomised fashion. Of course this would take a lot of time.

Even if you can get it on internet, it still can not be played. Don't waste your time on downloading the ROM and Dolphin. I am the one who have wasted a lot of time.
