Hey, I know that this has been asked to death, but will there ever be mic support for a pc microphone? sorry for asking, but i' really interested.. please let me know if there's ANYTHING planned for mic support in the future.

hmm...wheather it is a possibility or not depends on how the game handles the sound input.

Is the speech recognition code in the mic hardware or in the game rom? I doubt it would be in the game code since I don't think there would be enough bandwidth in the controller port to pass the game a wave stream.

This means that it will be very difficult to create a mic plugin, since the voice recognition software also needs writing, also, we would need to know exactly how the game communicates with the controler port.

here i'll tell you, the game sucks, pikachu is as dumb as a rock, and the voice recognition software is so primitive my 13 month year old sister could write it, and its momma

they would need to do a whole new speech recognition to make it work ,that's what the big external thing on port 4 on the N64 is for. And no one will ever plan to do such a huge thing, it will simply never happen. It was asked multi time already, SEARCH next time... :getlost:

...............lmao. please mods, i'm sorry. i really need to work on my working. crap, ha ha ha. well, anyway, i didn't even want to play the game PERIOD until I heard about it again and just wanted to see how it worked, sheesh. it's like it's a GOOD thing to buy it.......OR download it. It doresn't matter because all Pokemon roms are off of my hard drive. please don't ban me again guys. it was a slip of the tounge.
