Help

I was playing Pokemon Stadium 2 for a while and when I closed the system and moved a few files around (game files for Yellow and Gold respectively), Project64 would read those files. IT would read the cartridge, but not the save files. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE, PLEASE

You are not supposed to move save files out of the folders that the emulator is told to detect save files from. Put them back in the folder they were in, and they will be detected.

Okay. Thanks. But..
When I found out that they were not working, I deleted them.... Any way to get them back or replace them?

Hence, any way to make the save files from Pokemon Gold and Yellow be read by Project64? I do have N-Rage add-on and it did work before. A good friend show that in order have those files be read, I had to change the save game file from both into a SAV file. Now the true problem is that now my computer is assuming that those files want to be open with either Wordperfect or Project64 (which does not read at all) What am I to do?

Do not associate .sav files with a program, that does not work, nor was it ever intended to work that way. Never do that. They have to be opened from within the emulator (more specifically, since you want to use the Transfer Pak, you need to open the save file with the N-Rage Plugin when Transfer Pak emulation is enabled).

as in, Options --> Configure controller plugin --> Devices --> Select Transfer Pak

I tried it, but with the problem is that now when I save my games, Project64 won't read them. The option available is "Gaveboy save." So how do I make Project64 read my save games and still be about to update them. (Note: I am using the the Visualboy Advance emulator, but it still plays Gold and Yellow quite well).

OH, WAIT. You're trying to use the Gameboy features that Pokemon Stadium 2 supported. I thought you were talking about moving Stamium 2's save files, not the gameboy's ones. Well, I don't think 1.6 supports that. Not sure, but I think I read something about this before.

It's something that I recall was worked on for some plugin for PJ64 but it was never fully working it's one of those hit and miss sorta things because you're essentially going to emulate a cart within another ROM :pj64:

What I mean is that the data from both games (G and Y), I would like to use, for the purpose of playing it(using the feature Transfer pak option). Nothing more or less.

It worked! I can get the Gold save file to work for me now, but.....
yellow is still being a pain in the rear. i did the same thing I did with Gold (Saved the state, and save it as a .sg file) and still Pokemon Stadium 2 (and Project64) still cannot read that file. Any suggestions?

Yes, Yellow does work on the gameboy emulator (Basically on VisualBoy Advance), but I would like to use the data I gained in Yellow to take advatage of the Tranfer pak feature. Gold works fine, but Yellow is giving me problems. While Gold and its save file can be read easily, Project64 and Pokemon Stadium 2 can only read Yellow's rom, not its save file. How can I make these two programs read that file?

Search the bloody forum, it has been stated on over 14 occasions as to why MBC5 Battery loading is broken on the nrage 1.82x plugins. (get 2.0 from the plugins section)

It has been mentioned before but the save files of the emulated game I don't think were mentioned.
