Help with USB Ports

Wilson's Friend
I have a problem with USB Ports. It's not on my computer, it's at my friend computer, the problem consist in this: I need to copy a files from it and he doesn't have a cd burner and he don't let me to connect my hd to his computer (I don't know why, so don't ask me why), so we were going to use an USB Iomega Zip Drive. Now the problem is that his USB ports seems to be "dead", I mean when we connect the zip drive (or anything else) it doesn't recognize them, again he doesn't let me check if the ports are properly connected inside. Finally he has Windows NT 4.0 on that computer, I don't have any experience with it, and I don't where to find info about the current state of that ports (or of any dispositive)

Could anyone helpme??

The OS itself doesn't natively support USB but Iomega has drivers which enable you to use USB drives with it.

So, no and yes ;)

Keep in mind that NT 4 also does'nt support Plug & Pray: you need to have the drive connected at startup, plugging the drive in while the OS is running, will not do the trick.
