How would i get this working on a cd? it tells me that the plug ins dont load, therefore nothing would work without them. is there anyway to get project64 working on cd?
Well i have tried this before and got it working. What I did was downloaded Project64 and put all the files into a folder onto the desktop named PJ64. Then I copied and pasted that folder to the F Drive ( CD drive ) in My Computer. Then I clicked Write these files to CD (on the left side) and followed the Wizard from there. I personally didn't like having it on CD though. Your better off burning a CD with N64 roms on it and just having the emulator on the computer if you are saving disk space.-minkster
Just that it's probably *cough* against the rules *cough*
If you just burn the folder (the exact same way that it's working on the hd), then you can copy it off the cd even, but it should work on the cd then in any case.
Someone had it on a computer of two at my school but it didn't run very well. (surprise) Imagine trying to run it off of a cheapo school cd drive, 2x worse. But if the computers are good enough, you could even set up a pj64k lan using the school's network. Just copying the directory to a CD should work.
i would actually copy project64 to my documents at school, but they did something to where i cant have any programs in my documents... its very weird. it wasnt like this last year.
