Help with majora's mask

The game was running great until i put on the goron mask. An access violation in graphics plugin appears and i cannot continue anymore. Has this happened to anyone? What can i do?

Does this happen everytime you get to this part of the game? If so, It may be a bad ROM

It happens everytime I put on that mask. When I take it off (clicking the right button between those error messages), the game is normal again. I don't think it is the rom, cuz I've got it from two different places, and one was the american and the other the european version.

try to change the self-modifying code to protect memory since it's the most secure method.

The best way to check if it's a good rom is to use goodn64 (found below).
