Help with a Dolphin problem

I get the message "booting..." when i load my Mario party 4 .GCM file, and it just says that for awhile, i went afk for an hour and it still said "booting..." I have tried other "test" games ( homebrewed or something, found them on a website ) that are said to make dolphin work, but i just get the booting message everytime. I searched the forums, but no real help.


Anybody know?

Edit: I use windows XP, 512 ram, ATi radeon 9800

Mario 4 should shows intro movie if u do everything right.(both software & hardware)

Try Disable Dynerec.

ok, open dolphin then click on emulation and uncheck Enable Dynarec

it was already unchecked...

ill try re-extracting MP4, because the dynarec is unchecked and ignore opcodes is checked also.

Make sure that:
-there isn't an hidden message behind saying "D3D creation failed"
-That you have DX9.0c installed
-that you video card and your video drivers are DX9 compatible.

still getting it, and i downloaded DX9.0c, and i cant find the new drivers for ATi Radeon 9800, anyone got a link?
