ok i just joined here and i am new to n64 emulation ,i downloaded project 64 cos i been told it is 1 of the best emulaters.I have a problem with it which is when i load it up it shows my games which i got which r
Mario golf,chamelion twist 2,zelda majoras mask.megaman 64 ,snowboard kids and excite bike 64 and jet force gemini.

Next to zelda majoras mask and chameolion twist it says compatable,but next to snowboad kids,excite bike 64,megaman and mario golf it says issues plugins what does that mean.Also on jet force gemini it says incompatable does that mean it don't work.

it's not sensitive to plugin selection, there's simply a field for the core and a field for the default plugins since they are part of Project64.

i looked in the manual and it says mario golf is compatable ,but mine says issues plugins.Also it don't say what plugins to get to run the games snowboad kids,excite bike 64,megaman and mario golf so which 1's do i need

Well, as to which plugins:

I'd reccomend one of Jabo's D3D plugins. They seem to work the best.

Of that list, Majora's Mask is the only game I have, and I have to say that Jabo's D3D7 v1.40 is the best. For the rest, just experiment. First try Jabo's D3D7 1.40. You can also try older versions (which may actually work better than a new one; Super Smash Bros. w/ D3D6 1.30 is an example of this).

Chances are if a game says "Plugin issues" it will either be:
1) playable but not pretty
2) not playable due to GFX that you really need to play the game

If it says "Incompatible" than PJ64's core will not run the game.

Majora's Mask should run fine with only a couple of very minor bugs in the gfx.
I can tell you right now, Mario Golf will probably look awful... I just don't know about the rest.

ok thanks i get the lugins then try once i get my graphics card 4 my new pc.Also is mario golf and the others not runable on any emu or just project 64
