Hi friends!

I've a video problem with Project64 1.5, updated with the SP.

Some months ago, i could play perfectly all roms, but now, I've the following video problem: some vertical lines appear during the game. I've done all windows updates, reinstalled drivers of nvidia, reinstalled directx9b, tried with ALL video plug-ins that i've found, changing the resolution... but I've solve nothing.

I've attached here 3 screenshots. I was using Jabo's Direct3D 7 video plug-in.
The problem doesn't only appear with Zelda OOT, it appears with all roms i have.

I've an AMD ATHLON 1200, Windows XP Pro with SP and all updates, 512 MB RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE 2 MX 100/200, directx 9b... do you need more?

Well... I'm looking forward to your answers! xDDDDDDD

(I'm sorry about my poor English...)

THanKs!

The only thing I can suggest is uninstalling PJ64 (using the uninstall .reg entries in the Uninstall folder). Then reinstall it.

Do you have any issues in PC games?

Yeah, it would be a good idea to uninstall/reinstall to make sure you're using the default settings because you might have accidently changed something. Sometimes with an older geforce card the newer drivers don't work quite as well, so if you've tried everything else, switch to the 28.xx Nvidia drivers.

It looks like hes clicked on something or off something he should not have. Like the rsp code or something. I've had this happen before just screwing around, it was changing the rsp code, or the complier.

Hi friends!

Thank you very much, but the problem still remains.
I tried uninstalling (by register entries) P64 and reinstalling, using older NVIDIA drivers, and trying all rsp code options.

Would you givel me more advices?

I wish I could play P64 another time in the future... xDDDD

Thanks!

Hello!

Well, I think I've find out an interesting thing.

After trying another N64 emus, like 1964, I notice that the problem wasn't only of PJ64. I dowloaded a nvidia program, called "nvhardpage". In that program, you can config a lot of things about the video card. Concretly, there is a part of the program about DIRECT3d. There, It can be seen this window (see the screenshot i've attached, please).

IT'S THE SAME PROBLEM THAT APPEARS IN PJ64!!!

Then, I realised that it was a problem of Direct3d.

I reinstalled Directx, uninstalled it, tried with older versions, but I solved nothing.

Can you carry out helping me?

Thanks!!!!

What happens when you try other 3D games (such as Half-life, Unreal Tournament, etc)? If it's with all 3D games and you've reinstalled DX and the video drivers then your graphics card might be broken. Try removing the graphics card from the computer (when it's off!), reinserting it, and then update the video card drivers one more time.
