What are your computer specs, most importantly your video card and do you have DirectX 9.0c installed?

I would assume that means yes... Though, which one? The most recent release of DirectX is from June or July. I ask, because I've run across multiple games that wouldn't run without the most recent version installed (meaning, most recent release). Mouser X out.

I got an Ath 2600, 512mb ram, GFfx5200 and as I said before I have DX 9.0c installed, and today I updated my video card's driver

Goto Start/Run and type in dxdiag and click OK. That will report what DX version the system is aware of. If that has 9.0c or higher, then the only other possibility is that the video card is not supporting DX9 and is falling back to a DX8 or less version.
