The geforce 4 mx 420 is the best. But it's not recommended to buy a mx-card. A geforce 2 pro is maybe a bit more expensive, but it's better. If you really want one of these 2 cards, the geforce 4 mx is the best.

Actually, a GeForce2 Pro is not better. The GF4 MX keeps alot of features present in the GF4 Ti line, such as LMA II (Light speed memory Architecture. Helps memory bandwidth with Hyper Z Clears). Accuview Anti-Aliasing (Speedy AA, fastest available of any card, exluding the Radeon 9700, which is on par).

Though the GF4 MX 420 may have only 2.7GB/s of on paper bandwidth, with LMA II you can expect real world bandwidth performance to rocket up to about 4.7GB/s, maybe more.

HELL YES. IT'S ME!
yeah even the gf2 ultra cant keep up with the gf4 mx 440.

id advise you to stay away from the sd-ram gf4 mx cards, they are very limited by the sd-ram. try to get an mx440 with ddr at least
