I'm not sure how this is news for electrical engineering. However there it was an article about Porn and HD media formats. It seems to me the porn industry wants to use Blue Ray but is sleeping with HD-DVD (pun intended), a willing "partner"

Well from what I know some porn stars are actually against HD-DVD because it shows "too much detail" (Such as pimples, blemishes, moles, etc...)

Well ScottJC considering how much expense likely goes into porn I think you will recognize how LITTLE post production of the content goes on. Oh dear the cheap and easy days of porn are over if they have to do more than basic editing.

But I think most males would want to see the "perfect" girl in the porn (well, most MEN anyway), and that's pretty much what the porn industry is after too. To give what their customers want. Hell, what industry isn't?

...and about the "imperfection", I like it. It's way cooler to see something natural than watching for something they've edited thousand times. You can't "edit" your real life porn, can you?
Sure you can, after you've recorded it, that is.
Just don't leave it lying around where somebody can find it and upload it to Adult Torrent (my favourite porn site atm). Hell, I got all my private stuff hidden in the bottom of the sock drawer for, you know, those cold, rainy nights.
