Howdy. 1964 (with Rice's Daedalus) runs really smoothly on my computer. Mario 64 and other roms run well, but when I run Conker's Bad Fur Day, it fluctuates between choppy and slow (30-40 frames per second) and normal speed (60 fps). I don't seem to have anything running in the background that's slowing the computer down (I spent a long time checking out my task list). I'm running on a Dell Inspiron 5100, 2.39 Ghz, 512 MB of RAM, Radeon 7500 video card. As I understand it, my computer should be able to handle this easily. I've tried many different settings and different graphics plug-ins, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? Thanks.
