Please help! having trouble making an .mds file bootable

Hi,
I'm quite new to all of this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a non- bootable image of Zombie's Revenge. I have both the mdf and mds files. I've tried the method that makes the most sense to me on the tutorials (using the latest version of Exoskeletor Selfboot GUI) I seemed to have gotten stuck on the first step. I mount the .mds file with daemon tools to drive g:, yet when I select that drive in Exoskeletor as the drive that contains the image file, it says "Device g: is not available" The CDImage program built in doesnt give me the option of choosing the image when I search for it. I also tried converting the .mds file into .img, but when I then try to open it, it says it's unable to read the file. Could anyone help me, and let me know exactly what I need to do? Thanks very much!

Just mount the image to drive g: and do a manual copy of all files. Place all data in the exoboot data folder and try the data to cd method.

There's really enough info on making a working image withing existing posts. Try the search button.

hi. Yes, there was plenty of info available, but none of it worked for me. I finally used the Utopia Boot Disk, then loaded the game and it worked fine.
