Having a few issues with some games with Project64

Hello all

This is my first post so excuse me if this stuff has been asked before. I have done a lot of searching for a fix but due to the fact I am a bit new to the whole emulator scene I have not been able to find the answer to my problems.

Firstly I should probably give my PC specs as this might help.

P4 3.0Ghz (Asus Mainboard with up to date BIOs etc and sound drivers)
ASUS GeForce FX5200
1gig Ram
Onboard Sound

Hopefully that covers all the info people might need to help me, but if not please let me know and ill find whatever you want to know.

My main issues I am having are with Paper Mario and Conkers Bad Fur Day. From what I have read on the forums these two seem to be ones that others have issues with also.

The problem I am having with Paper Mario is that when I am in the town with the little mushroom men and a few other places rarely (sorry I forget the name of the creatures) the screen flickers really badly when I run fast. I am using Jabas Direct3D8 1.6 Graphic Plugin. Strangely it doesnt seem to do it when I run fast. I get a nice framerate so I am a little unsure why its having problems, and how to fix it.

If anyone can suggest a Plugin that will resolve this problem I would be in your debt.

NOW

As for Conkers the issue with that is a coloured flicker at the top of the screen that looks like its all pixelated (think thats best way to describe it).

Can anyone suggest something that may help with this also.

Thankyou and once again if I have posted this in the wrong place I am sorry, I just wasnt sure who else to ask. Either way I appreciate the help..

Download the latest RDB update here and see if that makes things any better.

However, by reading the GAmeFAQ, you'd see that the flickering problem is a known issue, and won't be fixed until Jabo's releases his new graphics plugin to the public or you switch to another graphics plugin.

Yeah I saw the faq saying it was a known issue, however after seeing so many helpfull posts here I thought I would give it a try and ask here.

Thankyou for your help, its greatly appreciated. I noticed both issues for both games in the faq but I thought someone may have had a home baked solution.

Thanks again
