Harvest Moon 64 incredibly weird and annoying slowdown...

Hey everyone.

I was wondering if you guys might be able to help me with this weird problem i have:

When im playing Harvest Moon 64 it all goes fine, but when i enter an area with many sprites on screen, theres a major slowdown. However, the FPS stay at 60 and the CPU clock thingie tells me that i have about 50% of idle resource.

Has this happened to anyone? could you please give me a hand? i really wish i could play this game

Harvest Moon 64 REQUIRES counter factor (CF) 1.
