So exactly how fast of a processor do you need to appreciate it properly?

I'd say 1.2GHz as thats what is recommended in the manual

who said it's dead? i just said 8 months ago no one felt like working on it any more. that's not quite the same as being "dead". unfortunately it's not the same as being "alive" either. but thanks everyone for the good wishes, that's really sweet someone remembered. i didn't
