Graphics problem?

hi im kinda new to the N64 emulators and im having a problem seeing some pictures and stuff on the game Bomberman. Its on the screen where it shows the victor theres just pink, green and blue lines. i assume the characters picture and their number of wins is supposed to be displayed there. So is there some kind of overlay option or transparency i can turn on/off?

ive got another problem too, i didnt wanna make another topic so im putting it under this one.
when i try to play paper mario the game crases as soo nas 100% of the game is loaded, just a bad rom?

Well,paper MArio maybe is a bad rom.
But we need more details about your Computer.
Please pput your system specs (video card,procesor,OS)

alright, maybe ill try downloading a new papaer mario form somewhere else. my specs are:
Vid Card - Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200
Windows XP
3.06 GHz 512 MB RAM

First: Download the latest drivers for your video card,uninstal PJ64 (go to Program files/Project64 v1.5/uninstall and click in all *.reg files in that folder).

AFAIK, there are only 2 Paper Mario ROMs in the GoodN64 set, and both of them are good. So I very highly doubt that the ROM is bad, but anything's possible.

Also, make sure you have the PJ64 Service Pack 1 installed. Try different video plugins as well.
