"Graphical Exception"? Error

When running "Banjo-Tooie (A)" in Project64 1.6, every 5 seconds I get this error message saying:
"While processing graphics data an exception occured
you may need to restart the emulator"

Graphics Plugin: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6
Windowed Resolution: 800x640 (tried on 640x480, same error)
Anisotropic Filtering: off
Super2xSal textures: off
Always use texture filter: off
Advanced Settings: all off

Comp Video Settings:
1024x768
...

That's all I can think of that's relevant to the problem...so...

Could you post your system specs? As this may help in solving your issue, unless it's a known issue that is. Did you check you check the GameFaQ? It has a few known issues, and some claim the older video plugin worked better.

Well from the DxDiag.txt file the first thing I can comment on is your video card, which is integrated on the motherboard, may be causing you problems. Upgrading to a better video card may help. I used to have a lot of problems w/ PJ64 before I upgraded my video card. And since the upgrade I have had no issues w/ many games I had probs with b4. Video cards go pretty cheap nowadays, so hopefully you can upgrade that. That's the only thing I can see that would be causing your problem, since you pc is fast enough, and there is no issue like this in the GameFaQ. Upgrades.....always a good idea!

Well, I found my old pj64 1.5 version, and guess what? Yup, BT works fine on it. Well, after seeing this, I go "hmm, maybe it's the graphics plugin version" and, (surprise surprise), it works now on 1.6 too. *Sigh*
