Graphic problems: Starfox 64

I've been having some problems recently. I don't know of this is a common problem or anything, but..

The only real problem I'm having is that the game is too dark.. Brightness doesnt help, it just brightens the colors I am able to see.

This is most apparent in the Space Levels (Sector X, Y, Z) where the back background makes almost everything just completely dark.

Is there any way to fix this? These are the plugins I have...

Well of course antrosopic filtering is good but don't push your graphics too much. And if you ask me that is a horrible configuration!
Try this config:
1 fulscreen 12--x12-- where - is a number of choice since i can't remember the resolution modes.
2 Triple buffer Vsync

Brightness 100% couse it doesen't help.

Just raise the brightness on your monitor - i've never had any problems with those levels to be honest. One of the levels in the game is supposed to be incredibly dark - the sub level you actually have to fire missiles to see properly.
