Graphic Erros? heah?

hi, i have a pentium III 667mhz, 256 mb ram and a gforce 2 mmx graphic card. the first time i have started project64 and mario64 it was ok. than i have take some changes in the options and now i have the following errors:

-Direct 3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card comptatible with Direct3D 6.0

-The default or selected video plugin failed to initialise...

What video plug in u use. Be sure to use jabo dircet3d7 vers.1.40

What color depth is your desktop on? Try setting it to 16bit in your Desktop Properties and stuff.

That stumped me for ages before I worked it out

This is almost always the case for voodoo cards.

Ywah, but he has a gf2....

Not to mention I wasn't using my Voodoo... it just turns out that all the cards I've had in all my machines won't run any Direct3D apps in 24bit colour. I never worked out why (and never really cared either).
