Grandia 2 (Echelon) does not work!

The game just freezes at the now loading screen. I used the search on this site for finding tips to make this game work and one tip I found was to burn the image. Which I did, but it still freezes! (I used CloneCD to burn the ccd image) The image files I have for this game are ccd, img and sub. I loaded the ccd image of Grandia 2 on daemon, but it still freezes! So is there anyway to get past this and to make it work?

So I guess there is no way to get past the now loading screen.

all you have to do is underclock the Chankast CPU to 50 and it should bypass the intro.


This may help for other echelon intros as well

It wasn't pointless though, I was having the same problem so I searched google and this was the first result that had an actual solution.

Did you read the documentation that comes with Chankast? I'm pretty darn sure that it's answered in there. Nonetheless, try using the "+" and "-" keys on the number pad. That should do it for you. Hope that helps. Mouser X out.

Thanks, it did what it was supposed to (the cpu number went down) but it still froze in the same spot,

Keep trying, i had to try atleast 10 times. But when you have made your first save you never have to do it again.
