I can't load any of my ROMs in Project 64.

I do as the GoodWindows FAQ says, but when I do "Execute: GoodN64.exe Rename", it says that I am missing all of the ROMs and doesn't do it.

My ROMs are .v64 format. How do I fix this?

Did you click the correct directory where your N64 images are in the bottom-left hand bit? Otherwise it won't find the roms. Make sure that all your images are fully extracted from archives such as RAR or ACE or it won't pick them up either.

Okay...

I changed them to ACE files with CKRename.

And I checked the correct directory, but they still won't show up!

It crashes when it says I am missing them and adds two "missing" text files to the directory.

ACE (along with RAR and ZIP) is a compression format. You can't just rename the files.

I'll interject that GoodGUI is a better utility to use than GoodWindows in my opinion. It doesn't crash. But you'll need Microsoft .NET Framework to use it...

You have to UnZip it .. Or UnAce it with winAce or WinRar..

Okay then...

How do you use GoodGUI anyways? I open the "Select system" menu, but nothing is on there!! How do I get stuff in there?
