Goldeneye Problems!

alright I am trying to play goldeneye and it is pretty lag free and such. My specs are:

2.5ghz Core 2 Duo penryn
3.5 gb ram
8400m gs

The problem is that the top of the screen smears together, especially when in outside levels. So it levels like the dam, or snow, the tops of the mountains and sky all do not move when I move. This makes those levels almost impossible to play. I am using the basic plugins that it was installed with.

How can I fix this?


Question #2:

How do you start a Perfect Dark Game!?! I go to New Agent or whatever, but the only option is to delete files or something. Where do you go?

For question 2, make sure you're selecting New Agent, it should come up with a name entry. It sounds like you're pushing something left/right. Make sure none of the C-buttons, D-pad or analog stick are being pushed in any direction when you select New Agent.

Also for Perfect Dark, I go to new agent, then type in a name. After that, no buttons let me do anything accept for "B" to go back.

After you enter your name, tell it to save onto the game pak.

With Glide64 Napalm I have nearly no troubles playing the game.

You can download it from here:

Extract glide3x.dll from the wrapper folder into Project64's main folder, and extract everything in the plugin folder into Project64's plugin folder.

Then choose it by opening Project64 and going to Options --> Settings, and under graphics plugin choose Glide64 'Napalm' 1.0.

To fix the smearing? Run the game, click advanced options tab, then select always from the dropdown menu. You need to do this for both GE and PD. It should remember the setting, but I find myself having to check this setting once in a while. For PD, use Jabo 3d6 1.5.2 for GE use 3d8.
