Wrong.
You need to download Glide64. It's a Graphics plugin. It's easy to install. Glide64 was developed primarily for the N64 emulators. (It will have other applications in the future no doubt.)
eVoodoo is a Glide3x wrapper. (3dfx used this overlay for in their Voodoo cards.) Think of eVoodoo as a "3dfx emulator." Glide64 is basically a severely updated version of this wrapper.
Go here:
http://www.emuxhaven.net/~glide64/downloads.htm
The instructions are simple. You put the file labeled "Glide64.dll" into the plugins directory of your N64 emulator. (I recommend Project64. It's the best one out there by popular vote. It's also the most compatible.) Then copy "Glide64.ini" to the root directory of your emulator. (The same directory that contains the emulator's EXE file.) Once you start up your emulator you will have to go to your video options and select the Glide64 plugin.
The process is pretty much the same for eVoodoo. You put "GLIDE3X.dll" into the plugins directory. eVoodoo also comes with a small configuration utility. You can put that with the dll file and use it to configure the Glide3X wrapper. In your video options you can select the 3dfx/glide plugin option. (Which is present BEFORE you install the Glide3x wrapper...unlike the Glide64 plugin. If you've ever tried to use the 3dfx/glide plugin before installing the Glide3x wrapper you will have received an error message stating that it could not find certain DLL files.)
Keep in mind... eVoodoo and (some) other plugins can also be used in other emulators such as the 'ePSXe' Playstation emulator. I've tried using eVoodoo with ePSXe with varying success... (I still don't use it for mainstream gaming, however. But it DOES support it.)
So there you have it. Let us know what results you get. If you have any problems come back here and post them.
