Well this is what they said : No joypad support no award (yet)

I gave them some info on GBXPLAYER 0.75 as well (It is not so on "hold"as you think )

New features :
- Joypad support (up to 4 controllers) (by Dr. Light)
- Save , Loading states (by Zero)
- Pause and Reset Modes (by X)
- 1 Fullscreen modes (640x4800 (by Zero)
- Gameboy Borders (by X)
- Multi-language interface (by Zero)
- Super Gameboy Mode (by Zero)
- Zip support (by Zero)

Expect a release this week.

Are the save files put in the same directory as the ROM or in a seperate sub folder?

Sounds good, I have a seprate ROMs and Emulators folders, and I don't like the saves getting mixed in with the ROMs
