Freezing on sega

Trying to get powerstone 2 to run *mounting the cdi image with daemon tools v3.29* but it just freezes at the sega screen. From what I have read I am guessing either it's a corrupt cdi *doubtfull*, the wrong region or it aint self bootable.
Problem is, how do I find out what region the cdi is for? And how do I find out if the disc is self bootable?

Any help would be appreciated.

If the game is non-selfboot, Chankast would normally just show the mounted image as an audio CD. Regions shouldn't make much dfference, at least not with PowerStone 2's case.

As for how to actually check the region, I don't know. The most obvious thing would be to look at the framerate counter.
