Hi there!
I'm sure that the mail I sent during the forum downtime got lost in the huge amount of mail I assume you get on a daily basis, and after speaking to ElSemi he suggested that this was still the best place to get ahold of you, so here goes.
Now, I don't know how much you listen to user input; in fact I can't claim to know anything about you at all, but I figure that as long as I've at least put forth my suggestion, then I can feel at ease whether you choose to disregard it or not.
I propose a "manual frame advance"-function, much like several emus out there (Kawaks, VB Advance, Nebula, etc.) today have incorporated. Why? Because I, along with pretty much any other person out there trying to rip graphics from the games that Chankast emulates would most likely find it very useful.
I don't know how much work it would entail, but it seems like a fairly trivial matter. So if it's only a matter of a few lines of code, I hope you'll at least consider it.
Thanks for what you and your team have done so far!
Best regards
Jesper Eije
