Nintendo attacks Zophar's! :D Posted by flow

Ok, this isn't exactly an emulation related post - but it's damn funny and worth posting :p Call it unprofessional if you want, but I really don't care. Over at Zophar's Domain, the Big N sent Sam Michaels a nifty little email. In a nutshell, the big N is demanding Zophar's stock of the Flash Advance Linker for the GBA. I don't feel I need to go into detail about what that is, if you don't know, then do a little research :)

Hmm.. seem's like the Big N is still surfing emulation sites [or somebody thought it would be funny to report them :p]. I wonder if they are going to dip into the pool of N64 emulators again... [sigh]. Anyway, hope you get a good laugh out of this post :) - flow``

I would really enjoy that. :)

i dont think that post should be there flow, it doesnt look good on emulation64, also how silly do we look if Nintendo comes after here (not that they wouldn/could, but lets not tempt fate eh ;)

Don't underestimate the power of Nintendo's layers Smiff. If they manage to do damage to Zophars they will start hunting down anything that helps emulation. Should I mention how many official emulation sites are hosted by Martin on this server?

i doubt the big n will come after emualtion64 since the matter was mainly this lil' tool that zd sold on their website. emulation64 doesnt do anything like that.

*sigh*

this happens relatively periodically, the big N does a sweep every so often when they feel like it, normally somewhere in the region of a year after a landmark release which is normally hardware, the same thing happened with the N64 and the same thing has happened with the GBA... big whoop
