Final Fantasy X-2

I'm a Final Fantasy fanboy, straight up. I love the stories, gameplay, and art direction of all the games. When I bought FF X a few months ago I was impressed at alot of its accomplishments, but I hated 'blitzball' and I hated orb puzzles. I just needed to know if FF X-2 had these stupid things in it aswell before I went out and bought it. I usually have to get really baked before I play FF X 'cause it bores the shit outta me, but the colors are very nice. And the battle system is good too.

I've looked around, and no one seems to mention blitzball or orb puzzles (which are the source of my boredom).

I've been mulling over X-2 for a long time myself. The battle system looks great, and I could probably live with its "you go girl" attitude. From what I've read though, it's basically a collection of sidequests and minigames (some good, some not so good) with a less than stellar story to tie 'em together. I don't mind sidequests if there's something useful in it for me, but I generally ignore minigames.

$20 is a tempting price though.

Cant go wrong with pixilated babes I guess... you know Squares production values are always off the chart, so its bound to be, at the very least, a decent game.
As long as I dont have to play blitzball again I'll be happy. It would be nice if they would bring back 'cards' into FF.

As far as i've played FFX-2 there has been no blitzball or orb puzzles. It's a pretty good game imo.

Well ther is blitzball in ffx-2 but it's not necessary to do it.
