fairy prloblem in Majora's Mask

soo... I've been playing Majora's Mask with an incredably small amount of problems. The only thing is some of the fairies in the temples are not there. I have checked several different walkthroughs and have verified that I am doing everything correctly in the game. The problem only occurs for fairies that are hidden behind walls and ceilings (like the one in the goron switch room in the snowhead temple). I can successfully use the lens of truth and see the hole in the wall or ceiling, however, there are no fairies there. I have tried to just shoot arrows into the hole, hoping to by chance pop the balloon to cause the fairy to float to me, but this has not worked either.

I have no plugins installed and I am running on pj64. I have a Dell p4, 2.26 Ghz, with a nVidia 64 MB Gforce4 4200 video card. I have also verified the rom with goodN64.

Try wireframe mode. I experienced this same problem using Jabo's and Glide64+EVoodoo. Just make sure to have your bow assigned to one of the C-buttons first as there are many things you won't be able to see with wireframe mode on including item graphics. You will be able to see the room and the pulsating fairy bubbles however (even with the LOT off).

I have been through the first couple dungeons with that and have not had that issue. Some faries are in treasure chests. (hence why they would not show up in the lens of truth).

I think he's specifically talking about the two fairies that are hidden in the Snowhead temple that require the lens of truth in order to see. There are also a couple in chests behind hidden walls, and as you said the lens of truth (and wireframe for that matter) won't help here to see the fairies, but the switch room is one of the two Snowhead rooms with hidden fairies and I know from experience that they don't show up with the LOT on the two plugins I've used but they did when I switched to wireframe mode.

i've hade that problem, on mine they appeared like colored boxes and were placed in unreachable places, what i did was the levitation cheat :-D but its the video plug-in try a diffenernt one.
