Extremely Annoying Problem

Hi, I recently started using PJ64 again and I've come across a problem. I start up Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of time, no problems at all everything is fine, however, when I press Z R and A(N64 keys, not keyboard), the combination to block and jump attack, PJ64 beeps at me,

now, after doing a little bit of registry editing I found that on a global level this 3 key beep can be modified as high as you want, however, it still beeps whenever I attempt to hold 3 buttons in PJ64, could somebody possibly help me out?

Thanks - InSoMnIaK604

Are you using a keyboard or a gamepad? You seem to mention something about this in your post but I'm unsure.

Keyboards can't detect more than 3 keys pressed at once. The only exceptions are Shift, Control and Alt. For some reason these will be detected as a 4th key (most likely because they cause alternate functions on other keys). If you're desperate for a 4th key, bind to one of those key buttons. The beeping you're hearing (if I udnerstand you correctly) is caused by your computer saying it can't read that many keys pressed simultaneously.

On the other hand, maybe I'm totally missing the point of your post. :)

Supposedly USB keyboards shouldn't have this problem, yet many of them do. If you really have to use the keyboard, map some buttons on the numpad. The number pad is often wired separately from the rest of the keys.

I'm using a keyboard, I dont have a gamepad available right now, I tried Agozers Idea but it didn't do anything at all,

What I said in my post was that I had gone into the registry and changed a thing or two allowing me to push as many buttons as I want without beeping, the ONLY time it beeps is when Im playing with Project 64.

yeah its a hardware issue, the keyboard doesn't have enough lines to send more then 3+a function key at a time.
