Evangelion64 - Latest 1964 & Rice Plugin

Hi,

Well, here is a screenshot of what i get on the magma diver level :/

My basic specs are a pIII 800 mhz, 768 Mbytes of RAM, and a Geforce 2 MX 440 with the latest forceware 53.03.

As you can see, because the commands aren't appearing, this game is unplayable for me :/

If you know what happens here, let me know. If it's normal, let me know too. Thanks.

Hehe, I own this game, I imported it. It's one of the worst games I have ever played in my entire life, if not the worst. So your not missing much! I really really really wish I hadnt spent money on it.

I know this game is a pile of crap; as you can see i'm on mission 6

So if you read my post correctly I don't want opinions of other people about the game. All I want is a solution or an explanation about why the tiles is really messed up and why the commands don't appear.

Apart of this, I'm using DirectX. I tried all the combiner types and that behaviour happens always.

use jabos d3d6 1.5.1. Did you use the plugin up to this point or is this a saved game. Because when i started it up it looked pretty good with rices.

With jabo's plugin the tiles are messed up too but at least the commands appear, so I can pass through the level

Although on the next levels I'll use the rice plugin, I think it's better for 3D graphics than jabo.

I agree. The only thing ive seen so far in this game are the lines during the cutscenes but other than that it looks great. And i get lines with all the other plugins too. in fact with glide it looks like crap. So big ups to rice.

P.s. I dont think the game is bad at all. If you like beat em ups. and figure out the controls.

WTF ??? How did you get in the 6th mission ? I get totally Pwned by the Angel in the 2nd mission !
Can someone give me GS cheats for this game ? I didn't find anything....

And well, i must to say the worst game ever on nintendo64 is superman 64, and not evangelion 64

Haha, yeah thats true. Sorry for not helping with your problem, I just always regret spending so much money on the game =)

rcgamer: from the beginning of the game all graphics looks good for me until mission 6 with rice plugin.
