ePSXe settings being mirrored

Okay, here's the situation; both my brother and I have separate directories for ePSXe, so that we can have our own savestates and so on. The problem is this, when I make a change in my directory's emulator, the changes I make are mirrored to my brother's Epsxe and vice versa. How!? I've tried looking in the emulator settings and cannot find any kind of directory management. I'd try to use a frontend, but Delta and ePSXexecutor don't have controller plugin support (I think) for my P880 Game pad. Is this fixible without having to hack the registry in WinXP Home?

Settings are stored in the registry, so I don't think you're going to get around it, short of maintaining seperate user accounts in XP.

Another issue w/ePSXe, it doesn't happen to my emulator, but my brother experiences it with Chrono Cross and then some. The framerate is at 60/60 fps, the audio is synched to the emulator and there is no frameskipping enabled, yet it acts like it's fast forward. Switching any of the plugins doesn't solve anything. I've experiemented with different settings w/the GPU plugins, but it still acts too fast. Is it a videocard issue?

There's a lengthy topic about CC at NGEmu, but before slogging through that you can try running with the -noauto switch, or just use v1.5.2

What would the "- noauto" command line do? Would it solve the speed conflict? Perhaps I'll try it.
