Emulator Controller Pak

I am playing Golden Nugget 64 and i want to save my game, but I don't have a controller pak plug in?

What should I do
I'm using 1964 on windows xp with a OSMART WINGPAD USB CoNTroller

All current input plugins have a mempak function. There should be a setting somewhere that enables it and allows you to choose where the virtual mempak is stored. Just look around a bit.
