DX9 Issue

I have an nVidia GeForce FX5200 and have Dx9b installed. Yet when I try and start Chankast (run the bios) it gives me an error saying my card does not support DirectX9... Now, I'm pretty sure the FX series could run DX9, and i know other directx programs run so whats the deal?!

the problem is that you have an fx5200

I had gone through 2 of them before I decided that my gforce 3 crashed my computer less and ran faster over all :yucky:

I may be a broken record but a 5200 gives all kinds of trouble!! you'd be better off without it!

now my 5200 works perfectly otherwise

Try installing a different driver or reinstalling it.

Aye .. check out the post about the best drivers to use if you have an FX just a little farther down. Hopefully they will fix it for you. IF not check back with us!
