Dual Boot With XP Pro & Redhat Linux V9

I already have XP pro installed, just wanna check with you guys, what do i need to do to install redhat 9 as a secondary OS?

I heard that you need to make a new linux partition, then set it as the active partition, install redhat then this will give me a dual boot program where i can switch between xp and linux, that ok or is it harder?

Redhat a good choice? I heard it's the best

well... i wouldn't say redhat is the best, but it's easy to install and better than SuSE - that makes it good enough
yes, you need an extra partition for linux where you install your redhat onto, then install a boot manager and you should be able to boot both

edit: there is a software called VMWare, it lets you run one OS inside another (i.e. windows inside a window on my linux desktop) - you can use it to install linux while in windows and use some browser to answer the questions coming to your mind while installing... and you can watch tv or listen to music while redhat is beeing installed :bounce:
