Driving simulators

I have a question.
Do you know any good driving simulator for PC or for the GameCube?
I mean games like Midtown Madness, where you can cruise around and having a view like if you were inside the car.
Need for Speed counts too.
Any other games of that genre???

Ok, thanks for the link, but I did not mean racing games
I meant driving simulators, in which you don't have to race, and you are able to cruise around.
Though, there are racing games that allow the player to cruise around the map, like Midtown Madness (1,2,3) and Need for Speed Underground 2

Yeah GTA too, but i guess that there's no GTA games for the GC...

There is for the PC though.
