DreamSNES

Well, just wondering... I downloaded chanka a little while ago to test if I could get DreamSNES running correctly in the emulator so that I knew I had burned a correct dreamcast cd, which I could play on my REAL dreamcast.
Ya know, snes emulation is a virtue, hehe.

Anyway, I can't get it working. Either, it simply reboots the bios when reading the CD (as it did on my real dc when trying on a cd before). Or...it seem to recognize it as a cd (audio?), with one or two tracks written upon it. Of course, no audio is played back.

I also tried to download an iso which would just be to burn with dreamsnes. I mounted it with deamon tools and the previous result was the response I got. It was recognized as some audio cd or something.

Well.. that's an interesting issue. As I understand it DreamSNES doesn't work with chanka at this time, however, if you had followed the instructions with dsnes then it should work with your dreamcast. Unless you didn't make it a selfbooting cd. Here's a link to a short tutorial on how to make dreamsnes selfbooting. hope it helps!!

I just want to make sure it DOES work, so I won't be wasting a CD. The dc will only accepts CD-Rs and not CD-RW.
