Yeah, heh, I'm new here :) . Anywhoo, I've got a problem running Doom 64 (doubt anyone plays or even likes the game, but oh well). Almost all the plugins I've tried either have a blank screen, messed up graphics, everything looks like grey boxes (jaboo's plugins mainly), or are so dark, that I can't see what I'm doing.

Computer Specs:
CPU Speed: 1.5 Ghz
RAM: 128 Mb

VIDEO CARD SPECS:
Card: Nvidia TNT2 Model 64
Bus Type: AGP
BIOS Version: 3.05.00.10
On board Memory: 32mb
IRQ: 16

Dont ask why I play doom 64 either, but here is a picture of it...

why the hell do you want to play doom64? ;) all I can say is try to update the detonators, not the newest ones, maybe some from 2000 or 2001, since the new ones sux0r with the tnt2. www.guru3d.com has them.

You may also want to check "Change blending mode..." in the video options.

EDIT: Uhrm... I guess it's my video card, it doesn't like this game. The renderers I've tried:
Jabo's Direct3d 7: Still has white boxes everywhere
Jabo's Nvidia Plugin: Too dark, and after changing my gamma, it still doesn't work right
GlNintendo64 Plugin: Has black boxes around the sprites, but it's still the closest thing I've gotten...

uhh.. Yeah, if I turn on the 'change blending mode', I still get grey boxes. If I change it to RGB emulation, it looks normal, but then my FPS goes down to about 5... Someone tell me an old detanator driver that I can get that came out around Christmas? I had PJ64 around then and it worked fine... Now, everything is working like a load of crap, and I think my Detonator drivers are to blame... :plain:

Mmmmm....Beeeeerrrr
why not try jabo's older plugins available with older versions of pj64? I don't have the game so i don't know what results you'll get with it.

I'll Try em', If I find them! :)

make sure when you get glide64, get evoodoo cause glide64 only works on 3dfx cards, but evoodoo is a wrapper for it so it'll make it work for you ;).

Yeah, this subject is old now, but I have finally gotten to try the Glide64 plugin. But for some reason, with that plugin on, the sound doesn't work right in doom64... odd...
