I've got Dolphin 1.02, and a couple of .gcm files (Prince of Persia Warrior Within, Super Mario Shunshine, Mario Power Tennis and Mario Party 6) but when I try to boot one of them, Dolphin crashes. I've tried changing the settings but nothin works.

here are my system specs:

Intel Pentium 4, 3,0 Ghz
1024 MB RAM
128 MB ATI Radeon X800 (latest drivers)
Windows XP Professional
Soundblaster Audigy 2
DirectX 9.0c

there are some games that they aren't ingame......such as Mario Party 6...but I think that it crash meybe for these reasons: 1) the video card is behind the requeriments 2) maybe if you change you Dolphin settings this will change......Bye!

ddr ram or sd???

Well, given that it's on a Pentium 4 system, you should already know that it's DDR. No P4 systems could use SDRAM, as the bus speed on that type of memory is too slow.

Woah woah woah, his hardware should be more than capable of at least booting games. Couple of things to check:

1. Have you set it to look for gcms in a certain folder? If there is a corrupt gcm in that folder, Dolphin can crash when you refresh the game list or first open Dolphin.
2. You have the default settings for Dolphin - making sure framebuffer is OFF.
3. Try disabling dynarec, it's less compatable than interpreter.
4. The only game that "works" out of those 4 games is Mario Sunshine. The rest either freeze, or don't boot.

all the games are 1,4 GB, I just turned framebuffer off, mario sunshine plays now, but it's very slow (3,5 fps) I was hoping it would go faster, but thanks anyway

Good, now don't come asking how to build up fps ( And you didn't so i know you're not a newbie). :whistling
Anyway, you must be happy to see the game running, a GAMECUBE GAME RUNNING, it's far too good... good luck!
