hey there,

My goal here is to get a GameCube emulator and play Zelda Wind waker.

I started by downloading Dolphin beta.3 64. When I go to run it, it comes up with this message:
dolphin_error.JPG

Does anyone know how to fix it?
Or
Can anyone recommend another way of being able to get a GameCube emulator?

Thanks

Yeah... you just have to look at the site where you downloaded it... the 64bit means, that it can only run a 64bit system.
And if you get this error, you don't have a 64 bit system... that's it.

You must also be running a 64-bit operating system such as XP64 or Vista64 in addition to having a 64-bit processor. 64-bit software can't be run on a 32-bit processor/operating system, a 64-bit operating system also can't be run on a 32-bit processor.

If you don't have a 64-bit processor or operating system, you are going to have to upgrade your system to a 64-bit processor and buy a 64-bit version of Vista or XP in order to use the 64-bit version of Dolphin or else you'll have to live with the slow 32-bit version of Dolphin.;)

lolz. For the cost of new mobo, CPU you could get a used gamecube + games :p
Dolphin is only used for experimental purposes

It has always performed worse than the actual GameCube. And by worse I mean MUCH worse. It's getting better though, but it will never be perfect.

Hell, it's been 10 years and Nintendo 64 emulation still has a lot of problems...
