I was just playin Zelda: OoT master quest and I realized while doing the forest temple I forgot Din's Fire. I thought I might not need it but now im thinking I do. I went back to go get it and theres this huge black boulder there with some weird symbol. When I check it, it says ..?. I guess you cant get it after growing up until you save hyrule which is kinda too late. Am I stuck? Do i have to start over all the way from the begining?

Please describe the location in the Forest Temple where you believe you need Din's fire, or better yet, post a screenshot of the area you cannot pass. I see your predicament since you can't go back in time because Sheik blocks the pedestal, but I don't think Din's fire is required to pass the dungeon.

Im not completely sure Im stuck. I was asking if you need it or if there is a way to get it afterward. Im at the fire temple actually now, I just remember in the forest temple. Im right at the entrance where you have to light the torches but I could prolly just use a Deku Stick. Im wondering if later there are parts where you need it.

EDIT: Shit, you can't use deku sticks after childhood...Now I think I am stuck. I just realized i have a save state from right after I got the zora king to move over. It still a lot of backtracking though...

Provide me with a native state of the Forest Temple and I'll get you passed it. I know Zelda backwards!

You'll be able to get go back in time to get Din's fire once you finish the Forest Temple (and you will need it for the Shadow Temple). If you're talking about the torches with the colored flames in the middle of the main room, you relight those by defeating the four Poes. Only after they're defeated will you be able to ride the elevator down to the basement to fight Phantom Ganondorf.

I didn't need Din's fire in the Forest temple , either o_O

I think i know where you've stuck , it's the place with the rotating pedestal with a torch in the middle , on one wall of the room is a frozen Eye Trigger , you need good timing for this one , the arrow must go through the burning torch and hit the Eye.... Din's fire was very useful at this point of the game , so i think you mean this place ;)

The huge black boulder is where you'll need the Golden Gauntlets, but that's a while away, when you're an adult. And Headshotter, is what you described in Master Quest? I know that it's in the original, but I haven't played the Forest Temple in Master Quest...

Nah... that's E-A-S-Y. Besides, you aren't meant to use din's fire there ;)

So... try to do it W-I-T-H-O-U-T a control stick ! Thats not so E-A-S-Y :p And with dins fire , you just have to start it under the eye , thats all ;)

Din's fire is very useful against that big hand that is walkin on the ground . It splits into 3 small ones which are very nasty ! I couldn't ever beat them the normal way , i had to use din's fire there ;)

And if all else fails, use cheat codes to get you Din's Fire! :) Then after you beat the temple, go back and time and get it properly.

Get an adaptoid j00! :p
Besides, those little bastards are easy to kill as well. Simply charge your blade and release when they get close! Presto, nothing more will remain of them!

Cheat00rs are not accepted here :p
Besides, the little shoot through the fire can be done without an adaptoid as well. Just lower the dead zone or whatever it's called. You can use some modifiers with n-rage. That's all there is to it.
