K, I got this DivX movie here, that has an unsuspected end of file - the last frame is corrupt, so I can't play it in WMP/BSP etc. Now, it opens quite fine in Virtual Dub, but when I encode it, the sound doesn't sync. Badly. Yet the sound is fine in Vdub... I tried DivxFix, which didn't work.
Any suggestions?

EDIT : I do have the "sync to audio" option enabled in Vdub, in case anyone wanted to suggest that. I tried adding a "delay audio track" value, which worked alright in the first few minutes, but afterwards as I said, the sound starting lagging.

(NL)Falcon4ever nandub and virtualdub are very handy for different kind of things.

Try removing the end frame that is screwed up by using virtualdub. Open the file then scroll along to the end of the movie. When you reach near the end use the left and right arrows with the yellow keys on them to select before the screwed up frame. Click edit in the menu and set "set selection end" set it to direct stream copy and then save it as a new .avi hope that works :)

Alrighty then, problem was solved by setting interleaving values to zero, and using direct stream copy for both audio and video.
