I'm trying to take snapshots of the scenery from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, that is, like the background graphics only. However, the overlay graphics like the health bar, weapons, and button displays are getting in the way of the picture.
Is there a way to stop those certain graphics from being emulated? I understand that N64 graphics don't work in "layers" as in 2D consoles like SNES. I was hoping, however, that the health meter etc. are different enough programming-wise from the background emulation that they could be turned off pretty easily. (E.g., the health meter stays in the same spot, whereas the background moves as the character moves.) Any ideas, anyone? Thanks a lot.
