Direct3D Device creation failed!

I am trying to run a game on Dolphin but when I try to run the game, It immetiatly says Direct3D Device creation failed along with a box that says booting. After saying ok, it says Gamecube emulator has encountered a problem and needs to close. How to I make the game run? I already have DirectX9.

Go to the GFX options and check your device settings! Set it to HAL if its on software mode!

you cant make it faster onless you get a 64bit OS, and what is your graphics card? it might be the problem for the color. and sound in dolphin for me doesn't seem work to well it randomly makes sounds then stops.

also what game are u trying to play?
