Direct X 9.0

Hey about a week ago I updated my Direct X from 8 to 9. When the setup was finished I restarted my pc like it said.
Anyways,I tried playing a Direct X game and it ran like it always did. Then I updated my v.card drivers to detonators 44.03 (I think). After I restarted my pc I played one of my emus zsnes,Gba,and Mame. There was a BIG decrease in speed. Very slow.And there was supposed to be Bilinear Filtering with all my emus but that was gone too. But then I tried Midtown Madness 2 demo.It ran about 30% faster than
usual. I used system restore to restore back to DX 8 and my old vid. drivers 41.09. Does anybody know what may have caused this big slow down???

possibly because the new fx drivers dont support tnt/tnt2 chipsets... seriously i dont know. how about some beer then? :beer:

The latest Dets have only marginal support for TNT and TNT2... I wouldn't bother with them.

You will get better speed with the 30.xx's

Maybe its time to upgrade my vid card and PIII
