This happens to me too... I wish I could post a pic of it, it's so funny watching all of the racers heads going around in circles. It's on my other computer and I'm to lazy to post it.

This is one of the many halarious copy protections Rare put into their games.
Putting compilermode=3 in the Diddy Kong rom settings should fix this problem.
